We are looking for a motivated and proactive Q&FS Trainee to join our team at the Carregado plant in Portugal. In this role, you will support the Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) department in ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations, while contributing to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives.

Responsibilities- Support daily activities related to food safety and quality within the plant
- Assist in updating and maintaining documentation in line with FSSC 22000 and other relevant standards
- Contribute to the digitalization and tracking of Q&FS KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs and ensure Q&FS compliance
- Participate in Q&FS culture and engagement initiatives
- Support learning and development processes, with a focus on simplification and efficiency
- Assist in the execution of Q&FS strategies and continuous improvement projects
- Degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of Q&FS standards (IFS, BRC, FSSC 22000, Food Fraud, Food Defense) is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Excel and digital tools
- Proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and grow
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
