Overview

The Brand Designer – Beverage, PepsiCo Asia BU, is responsible for executing local and regional brand design and graphic design projects across the beverage portfolio. This role is highly hands-on and requires the ability to drive projects from early ideation (in partnership with senior design managers) through concept development, refinement, and final execution.

The designer is accountable for delivering high-quality brand design solutions through direct design execution and by effectively leveraging internal and external design resources. Success in the role depends on strong capability to visualize and clearly articulate creative thinking, while planning and implementing consistent design principles and production processes to ensure all design and production guardrails are met. The role works closely with Design Leads, brand and marketing partners, and collaborates with International Beverages (IB) for alignment and approvals.

Responsibilities
  1. Own and execute brand design work across the beverage portfolio
    • Execute local and regional brand design and graphic design projects from concept through final delivery.
    • Create high-quality design solutions by directly designing and/or leveraging internal and external design partners.
  2. Manage visual identity stewardship for assigned brands
    • Take ownership of the visual identity for specific brands within the portfolio.
    • Partner closely with the Design Lead, brand teams, and marketing to ensure consistent brand expression.
  3. Develop and deliver creative proposals
    • Generate and communicate creative design proposals (e.g., visions, scenarios, and concepts).
    • Visualize desired outputs and share them clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally and with IB
    • Work closely with International Beverages (IB) on collaboration and approvals.
    • Coordinate with broader partners (e.g., designers, brand teams, consumer insights, media, ecommerce teams, and engineers) to support strong outcomes.
  5. Translate research into actionable design requirements
    • Participate in research activities and translate customer needs into actionable design requirements.
    • Apply requirements to develop effective design solutions and recommendations.
  6. Drive design decisions through approval and into production
    • Drive designs to final recommendations, decision-making, and design approvals to enable artwork execution/production.
    • Ensure thorough consideration of project variables so the final solution performs as intended and meets guardrails.
Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of deep brand design experience.
  • Graphic design degree or similar is preferred but not required.

Language

  • English proficiency (written and spoken).

Core Design Capabilities

  • Extraordinary design taste and skill.
  • Extraordinary proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • 3D software capability is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and visualize concepts through hand sketching and/or computer software.
  • Strong ability to visualize and articulate creative thinking with a clear design “point of view.”
