Responsibilities
The Opportunity
Lead the strategic planning, governance, and execution of distributor-related transformation projects across the region, ensuring alignment between commercial priorities, operational capabilities, and long-term growth objectives.This role acts as the bridge between strategy and execution by transforming business opportunities, risks, and high-level initiatives into structured action plans with clear governance, timelines, accountability, and measurable results.
The position is responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, accelerating decision-making, mitigating execution risks, and ensuring sustainable implementation of distributor operating model initiatives.
Your Impact
Strategic Project Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end distributor transformation and strategic projects, ensuring alignment with regional commercial and growth priorities.
  • Translate strategic business opportunities into actionable roadmaps with defined milestones, owners, KPIs, and governance structures.
  • Identify growth opportunities, operational gaps, and execution risks within distributor markets and propose scalable solutions.
  • Support the development and implementation of distributor operating models, GTM initiatives, and commercial transformation programs.

PMO Governance & Execution Excellence

  • Establish project management standards, governance routines, tracking mechanisms, and executive reporting cadence.
  • Drive project execution discipline across cross-functional teams, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
  • Monitor project health, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans while proactively escalating critical issues.
  • Consolidate regional project status updates and provide executive visibility on priorities, risks, timelines, and business impact.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate alignment between Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales Operations, and Distributor partners.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions and decision-making forums with senior stakeholders and distributor leadership teams.
  • Influence without direct authority to ensure accountability and execution across multiple teams and markets.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate project implementation.

Continuous Improvement & Business Transformation

  • Identify process optimization opportunities to improve execution efficiency, visibility, and governance.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics, KPIs, and performance tracking tools.
  • Drive standardization and scalability of best practices across distributor markets.
  • Contribute to long-term business planning by assessing operational capabilities, investment needs, and transformation priorities.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • MBA or postgraduate studies is a plus
  • Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or related certifications are considered a plus.
  • Required: Fluent English proficiency (spoken and written).

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience leading Project Management, PMO, Commercial Transformation, Sales Operations, Route-to-Market (RTM), Distributor Management, or Business Transformation initiatives
  • Proven experience leading strategic and operational initiatives, driving process standardization, operational excellence, and business growth across complex, matrix organizations.
  • Experience collaborating with distributors, cross-functional teams, and regional stakeholders across multiple markets.
  • FMCG/CPG experience preferred

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Strong experience with SAP and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Route Engineering, Geo-Marketing, GPS, and sales execution tools is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze business data, identify opportunities, and convert insights into actionable plans.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness and availability to travel frequently across Central America
  • Valid driver’s license
