Responsibilities
The Opportunity
Drive the Category agenda for Dominican Republic & ROC, supporting key customers through category and shopper insights to identify growth opportunities. Partner with commercial teams to develop and execute Category Management and Perfect Store initiatives, ensuring strong execution and contributing to PepsiCo’s position as a strategic category partner.
Your Impact
Customer Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with key customers, KAMs and Sales teams, positioning Category as a strategic partner through fact-based insights and recommendations.
- Develop compelling category selling stories and support strategic customer sessions, including WCCE presentations and category reviews.
- Partner with regional and cross-functional teams to translate shopper and category insights into actionable commercial opportunities.
- Support capability building across Sales and Marketing teams through category tools, insights and best practices.
Category Analytics & Growth Strategy
- Identify category growth opportunities across Salty Snacks, C&C and Quaker, integrating shopper insights, market trends and business performance across OT, DTS and 3PD.
- Develop fact-based category strategies and recommendations across assortment, product mix, space and execution.
- Transform data and insights into actionable customer solutions that accelerate category and PepsiCo growth.
- Support consumer/shopper studies and continuously evolve analytical tools and methodologies.
Category Design & Execution
- Develop and lead customer-specific planograms and execution standards, ensuring effective implementation at the point of sale.
- Translate category strategies into clear Perfect Store / Picture of Success guidelines by customer and channel.
- Partner with Sales, Merchandising and execution teams to improve product positioning, visibility and space productivity.
- Monitor execution and identify opportunities to continuously optimize category performance.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree (International Business, Marketing and or Industrial Engineer)
- +2 years experience in FMCG industry
- Negotiation skills
- Exceptional analytical skills, high level of abstract and numerical thinking
- Fluent English (Oral and Written)
- Consumer oriented
- Highly committed sales professional
