Overview

The Commercial Control Manager role is established to strengthen internal controls, centralize sales process governance and monitoring, enhance business partnering, and support sustainable, profitable growth.

  • Ensure GCS effectiveness and compliance in sales functions by implementing an effective and efficient process with continuous improvement
  • Ensure the sales daily transaction fully in compliance to PEP policies and accuracy of financial accounting
  • Ensure the accountability of reporting and analysis to support business decision


Responsibilities

  • Control Framework & Process Governance
    • Execute and sustain the necessary processes for effective internal control over financial reporting
    • Drive process re-engineering, including transparent, fair, standardized of on-going processes to improve operational effectiveness and reduce control risks
    • Ensure timely implementation of internal and external audit recommendations
  • Financial Reporting and Transaction Processing
    • Review transactional items to ensure compliance to PEP policies and accuracy of financial accounting, especially D&A accrual and claim
    • Conduct regular review to timely identify control gaps and implement appropriate preventive and detective controls
    • Identify the opportunity of automation and support the implementation of IT tools which improve the accuracy, timeliness and cost effectiveness of financial transaction processing
  • Compliance and GCS Support
    • Support functions to conduct risk assessment and enhance the key control implementation
    • Support the commercial function as they ensure GCS effectiveness and compliance.
    • Conduct training to the business on the SOA, policy, GCS requirement and etc
  • Business Partnership & Performance Assurance
    • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of D&A reporting and analysis for business decision making
    • Develop financial analysis and dashboards to improve visibility and accountability for D&A spending and business performance
    • Identify and address potential financial risks that could impact business performance or reporting accuracy


Qualifications

- Solid finance functional experience and understanding of financial accounting policies

- Min 5-year experience in working with sales function

- SAP SD/TPM module experience is preferred

- Experience in manage a team with 5+ members

- Good communication skills in both Mandarin and English

- Influence skills including to the superior level executives

- Problem solving and result oriented with full integrity

- Highly self-motivated, ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task project environment
