Your Talent
Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business or other Apparel/Fashion related discipline preferred.
2-4 years of product experience with top tier sport/fashion company
Direct experience in the field of Women’s performance apparel (sales, product, merchandising) preferred
Passion for Athletics, Running, and/or Fitness
Credible knowledge of global Apparel marketplace as well as consumer trends and market dynamics
General basic knowledge of international retail environment
Technical product knowledge – working knowledge of product development timelines, costing/pricing, supplier capabilities and fabrication
Excellent communication skills, and ability to frame and defend an alternative position
Strong analytical, overall business orientation
Strong collaboration and growth mindset
Ability to utilize PowerPoint and Excel and present category knowledge using those tools
Domestic and/or International travel required; up to 10-20%
Your Mission
Assist, lead and manage future global growth of Running/Training Apparel category
Responsible for the product creation lifecycle of the Women’s Training category. This includes developing product strategies and managing seasonal timelines to ensure on-time and successful product launches.
Brief seasonal product lines, including price structure, margin requirements, and style/article planning.
Make data-driven decisions based on historical analysis and selling performance.
Collaborate across teams, including Design and Development to drive consumer-centric, commercial, cohesive product lines.
Drive effective decision making and keep projects on track while guiding the cross functional team to achieve common goals for Women’s Training.
Frequently engage and build strong relationships with regional teams to develop winning assortments and improve product lines.
Produce market and competitor analysis for relevant distribution channels, key accounts and consumers targets.
Constantly seek opportunities to expand the Women’s Training category and identify new business avenues.
Maintain all the product information systems ensuring excellent data quality
Consistently demonstrate professional maturity, model a strong work ethic, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Present the range, both internally to PUMA merchandising and sales, and externally to key retailers / partners.
Assist with sell-in tools preparation and set up at internal meetings
