The Maintenance Technician role is to operate, support and maintain the Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) in the C390 Training Center, carrying out technical and operational tests as well as assuring all logistic supply and documentation procedures. A team player, expected to perform within the C390 FSTD team to assure the reliability, availability, quality and best performance for all the training devices.

The general and generic duties of the Maintenance Technician include, but not limited to:

• Operate and monitor the simulators in the C390 training center
• Supporting our customers in the operation of the simulator
• Maintenance and repair of the simulators in the C390 training center
• Carrying out technical, operational tests
• Installation and assembly work
• Logistic supply for the maintenance of the simulator
• Documentation of operating procedures
  
  
  

What Qualifications You Should Have

• Completed technician training in the field of IT, electrical engineering or comparable
• Excellent IT skills, especially with Windows- and Linux-based computer systems, and advanced knowledge of networks
• Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of complex, networked systems
• Experience in handling technical system documentation and electrical test equipment
• Completed technician training in the field of electrical engineering or comparable
• Knowledge of defense technology products is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken Dutch and English
• Ability to work independently and on one's own responsibility as well as a service-oriented manner
• High level of initiative, proactivity, flexibility and resilience
• Goal-oriented and independent way of working as well as assertiveness and confident appearance
