Quality Control

• Strong capability to perform mechanical inspections (CMM advantageous).
• Strong sense of direction and presence.
• Ability to lift and move products.
• Ability to manage and implement quality control systems.
• Approves incoming materials, qc specific purchased parts, tooling as per ECL plan by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves purchased parts by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  
  
  

Quality Assurance

• Review of quality documentation when required.
• Implementation and review of quality processes at suppliers.
• Ability to analyses, improve and optimize quality processes at suppliers.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Report nonconformities.
• Non-destructive and destructive testing of samples as per QAP.
  
  
  

Test Facilities

• Management of internal and external testing of materials.
• Ability to perform testing of materials.
• Ability to work shifts.
• Availability to work Overtime to support operational requirements.
  
  
  

What Qualifications You Should Have

• NQF 5 (Higher Certificate) Qualification in Engineering or
• Exposure and understanding of the ISO 9001 Quality Management
• At least 3 years’ experience in a mechanical inspection in the manufacturing
• Experience in LEAN manufacturing would be an
• Knowledgeable in the application of sampling plans & Materials
• Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability in the interpretation of geometric tolerance and engineering drawing
• Demonstrated ability in the application of measurement practices and
• Ability to work in other quality areas when
