Within Rheinmetall AG, it represents the Tactical Vehicles business unit and is responsible for sales, development, production, and order and service processing.
Your Responsibilities:
- Leading interdisciplinary internal and external specialist teams, as well as suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensuring that deliverables are provided on time, on quality, and within budget
- Overseeing the entire product development process for electrical/electronic systems and their components
- Collecting, structuring, and maintaining technical requirements
- Ensuring consistent model- and/or document-based development
- Technical subproject management with responsibility for quality, cost, and schedule in implementation and integration
- Ensuring interface compatibility and overall vehicle integration
- Compliance with architecture, process, safety, diagnostics, testing, and security requirements
- Reporting on status, risks, and progress to project management and line management
What Qualifications You Should Have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (e.g., electrical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering, automotive engineering) or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience in the coordination and development of complex subsystems or complete systems
- Experience in (sub-)project management
- Proficiency in DOORS, Teamcenter, and MBSE is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken German, as well as good written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and strong communication and facilitation skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work
