As a Software Development Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of verification, you will develop test concepts in accordance with the V-Model and ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 and be responsible for the verification of software and systems in the automotive sector.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and coordinating complex technical interdependencies in software and hardware development for vehicle systems
- Designing, planning, developing, and integrating test environments for control units
- Developing test software in scripting and high-level languages
- Specifying and conducting functional tests using DOORS
- Coordinating with the development and quality departments
- Commissioning and managing subcontractors/engineering service providers to handle subprojects
What Qualifications You Should Have
- A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in software development or software verification
- Experience in methodical software or systems development
- Experience in developing safety-critical components in accordance with ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 is a plus
- Experience working with DOORS is desirable
- Very good written and spoken German, as well as good written and spoken English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work
