Salesforce is looking for a technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative, and passionate leader to manage the Org Migration Operations(OMO) teams. The OMO team has the critical responsibility of managing and carrying out all migration operations. Migrations is the core technology used to transform Salesforce from our first party data centers to public cloud infrastructure. You will be at the forefront of making this transformation a smooth and efficient process!

You will manage and lead a team of dev-ops experts and keep quality in mind. You will be responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities and driving continuous improvement. You will act as a liaison between the engineering teams, customers and stakeholders and the operations team.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Hire and build a distributed team of Devops experts.

  • Providing career development, technical guidance and mentoring to team members

  • Establish clear goals and measures for services

  • Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product

  • Facilitate effective communication with customers and various stakeholders

  • Ensuring seamless process execution and timelines

  • Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting any operations issues

  • Collaborating with engineering team to influence development priorities

Required Skills:

    • Exhibit strong reasoning and critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve issues or exceptions that arise during operations. Ability to quickly identify the root cause of a problem.
