This position is for Salesforce’s Analytics Cloud Organization. CRM Analytics product is one of our most exciting product offerings ever. It provides an integrated analytics and AI experience within Salesforce’s CRM workflow, and is a key part of Salesforce Customer 360. Currently, we are on a journey to develop revolutionary analytic capabilities that will help define the Salesforce next-generation analytics platform on Data Cloud and cement Salesforce as a leader in the BI & Analytics industry. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Providing technical guidance, vision, and leadership to the engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.

  • Architectural Design: Leading the design and architecture of complex software systems, making critical decisions that influence product performance, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Engineering Excellence & Innovation: Promoting engineering best practices, setting high coding standards, and conducting regular code reviews to ensure the quality, security, and robustness of the UI codebase. Building a culture of continuous improvement within the team and influencing the team to constantly innovate for better products, systems, tools, and processes.

  • Mentoring and Inspiring: Sharing knowledge and helping transform an organization from within by working with and coaching team members, fostering their professional growth, and inspiring them to achieve technical excellence.

  • Influence on Roadmap: Actively participating in discussions with stakeholders to influence the product roadmap based on technical feasibility and innovation.

  • Working Model: Working in a Hybrid Engineering model and contributing in all phases of SDLC including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing of the stories.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, architects, quality assurance, and peer engineers for detailed technical specs, and spikes and to ensure smooth product development cycles

  • Technical Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving technical challenges, bottlenecks, and architectural roadblocks effectively.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent field

  • 10+ years of software development experience on enterprise applications.

  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Architect in a software development environment.

  • Passion for building distributed and scalable systems.

  • High proficiency in at least one high-level object oriented programming language (Java, Javascript, Ruby, Python etc).

  • Experience designing and developing backend APIs (RESTful, SOAP, gRPC) and event-based systems. Good experience of backend frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, ORM & JPA frameworks.

  • Experience in web technologies such as Javascript - ES6+, CSS3, HTML5, Typescript, and related UI frameworks (eg ReactJS, AngularJS).

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze a problem, design, educate team members on it and work with them to solve the problem with high quality and on time.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams.

  • Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process/productivity improvement


Nice to Have Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience of other programming languages such as Python, Golang, RUST and

  • Experience with industry standard platform engineering tools and technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, JMeter etc

  • Experience with public cloud services (AWS/ GCP/ Azure)

  • Knowledge of modern, non-relational databases (e.g. No-SQL databases etc.), data lakes, data warehouses, AI pipelines or similar.
