This Role provides the opportunity to work with a highly energized technical team to deliver a CI system that services developers at scale. The Core Developer Productivity team at Salesforce is seeking talented and experienced Build and release engineers with a background in software development to develop services for and automate CI pipelines at Salesforce. Ideal candidates have experience in AI / ML and Developing/Implementation of secure CI / CD system at scale, and integrate with critical subsystems, strong understanding of code dependency management, test case analysis and setting up containers, logging and analytics.

This engineer will hit the ground running with a strong understanding of AI/ ML, Full stack development and proven CI/CD experience designing and implementing workflows to support automated builds, testing, code promotion, and deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of industry experience and a passion for designing, analyzing and deploying machine learning-based solutions. Experience working as part of a data team working with mature data science products.

• 8+ years of experience in Full stack Application development

• 5+ years of experience developing Java (or other OO languages) applications

• Good understanding of Machine Learning methods and Statistics, including ML project lifecycle and associated challenges at each stage of development. Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools

• Solid understanding of data transformations and analytics functions using tools/languages like Pandas, Sklearn, SQL and Spark. Ability to write robust code in Python, Java and R.

• Solid knowledge of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 and Experience using ReactJS, Angular, Redux, Relay/GraphQL, ReactNative, Ember.js, Node.js for Front End focused positions

• They must have knowledge of at least one backend framework, such as Django, Spring,.Net, Express.js, or Rails, as well as at least one backend language, such as Java, C#, Ruby, or Python.

• Experience in automated testing including unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium, Mocha and QUnit

• Experience with Terraform, K8s, micro-service development and Blue/Green deployments

• Proven track record in building software and data products using modern development lifecycle methodologies: CI/CD, QA, and Agile Methodologies.

• Applied experience designing, building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets.

• Experience deploying, monitoring and maintaining data science products in cloud environments such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Strong communication skills and ability to interface well with other engineers, data scientists and product managers.
