Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional software development experience

  • Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment.

  • Adept in full-stack development, spanning from design to backend functionalities.

  • Knowledge of key AWS services like IAM, CloudFront, Lambda, Event Bridge, Elastic Load Balancing, S3, and Kinesis.

  • Skilled in Linux ecosystems, especially in cloud deployments using Kubernetes (with a highlight on EKS).

  • Robust understanding of RESTful API design and development, combined with unit testing practices and OpenAPI.


About You:

  • A versatile full stack developer equally adept at crafting stunning user interfaces and diving deep into server-side logic and database intricacies.

  • Fluent in a range of modern web technologies, including:

    • JavaScript/TypeScript

    • HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS

  • Acquainted with back-end languages such as Elixir, Ruby, and/or Node.js.

  • Familiar with authentication and authorization mechanisms, including oAuth and OIDC.

  • Knowledgeable in Salesforce Package Development, with experience in Apex, LWC, Aura, and Declarative Development.

  • Rapidly masters design tools, emphasizing seamless collaboration with our design teams.

  • Well-versed with cloud platforms like AWS or Heroku and its 12-factor methodology.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, and experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Proficient in RDBMS, with a preference for PostgreSQL; experience with other systems like MySQL, MS-SQL, or DB2 is valued.

  • A troubleshooting and debugging maestro, meticulous in approach.

  • Proficient in API development, with a grasp on OpenAPI and RESTful design principles.

  • Experience in extending Visual Studio Code with custom extensions

  • A foundational understanding with SCM tools such as git

  • Knowledge of supporting online services such as GitHub/GitLab/BitBucket a plus

Expectations:

  • Independently deliver robust full-stack features.

  • Engage collaboratively with Product Managers, Design Team, Lead Engineers, and Scrum Masters.

  • Seamlessly integrate front-end and back-end systems.

  • Exhibit excellence in debugging, design specifications, and industry best practices.

  • Remain proactive in retrospectives, root cause analyses, and addressing production glitches.

  • Mentor and technically coach emerging team members.

  • Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and feedback channels.

  • Uphold high standards in both front-end and back-end components, ensuring top-tier performance.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $133,800 to $220,000.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
