RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the automation team, aligning with the company's goals and client needs.

  • Be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks across various platforms, including macOS, iOS, WindowsOS, and Linux.

  • Ensure the quality and reliability of automated processes through regular review, testing, and performance analysis.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including software development, QA, and operations, to integrate automation solutions into the broader ecosystem.

  • Lead the selection and implementation of performance testing tools and automation tools, ensuring they meet the team's requirements and enhance productivity.

  • Drive the adoption and integration of APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and other automation technologies to streamline development and deployment processes.

  • Communicate effectively with collaborators at all levels, providing clear updates on automation initiatives, progress, and challenges.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in automation, performance testing, and cloud technologies to keep the team ahead of the curve.

  • Handle budgets and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within allocated financial guidelines.

  • Cultivate strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering automation solutions that exceed their expectations.

  • Champion a culture of dedication, where attention to detail and a commitment to quality are paramount.

  • Facilitate the professional growth and development of team members through clear goal-setting, regular feedback, and opportunities for advancement.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience in an engineering role with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position, preferably within Software, QA, Automation, or Infrastructure domains.

  • Validated expertise in leading and scaling automation frameworks across macOS, iOS, WindowsOS, and Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, RHEL, etc.).

  • Sophisticated proficiency in scripting languages such as BASH, ZSH, and Python.

  • Demonstrated experience in supervising the implementation of performance testing tools (e.g., Gatling, NewRelic, AppDynamics).

  • In-depth knowledge of various Automation Tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete) and their strategic application in enterprise environments.

  • Comprehensive understanding of APIs and their integration into large-scale systems.

  • Proficiency in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and jobs to streamline development processes.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a consistent track record of effectively conveying sophisticated technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Keen attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and the ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strategic attitude with the ability to anticipate future trends in automation and adapt strategies accordingly.

PREFERRED

  • Advanced knowledge of AI technologies and their applications in automation.

  • Expertise in version control systems, particularly GitHub, and experience in running sophisticated codebases.

  • Extensive experience in deploying applications to cloud environments, with a preference for AWS.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and their role in creating scalable applications.

  • Proficiency in additional programming languages and frameworks, such as NodeJS and Golang, is highly desirable.

  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation to support project initiatives and team growth.

  • Ability to champion strong client relationships and optimally handle client expectations in a dynamic environment.
