The Product Owner, Sr. Analyst for Business Technology (BT) Data Platforms will lead the feature implementation of Salesforce’s internal Data and Analytics platform. You will be defining and executing the implementation strategy, ensuring our Data and Analytics platform meets internal customer needs, and drives value generation. You will work closely with multi-functional teams, including engineering, security, infrastructure, data management and data science to drive this implementation.
This is not a remote opportunity. The role requires in an office presence to our Dallas, TX office at a minimum of 10/quarter to support their customers and/or collaborate with their teams.
Responsibilities:
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and goals to the development team and stakeholders
Ensure the Product meets Salesforce’s standards for Trust, Operational Excellence and Governance
Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and business objectives
Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring a clear and detailed understanding of customer needs
Create clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications with priorities to guide development teams in building high-quality products
Plan and coordinate product releases and go to market strategies taking into account dependencies, timelines, and business priorities
Conduct regular office hours, product demos to showcase progress and gather feedback from stakeholders
Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback, and incorporating it into the product development process
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the successful delivery of products on time and within budget
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product
Develop and maintain a comprehensive customer documentation for product features, operations and governance procedures
Required Qualifications:
3+ years in a functional analyst role (e.g. Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, etc).
2+years Experience implementing Enterprise grade Data and Analytics Platforms (e.g. Tableau, Informatica, Databricks, dbt)
2+ years of Snowflake administration
Experience working in a DevOps environment and software development process for data products and platform services
Experienced delivering in Agile Methodologies
A related technical degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem and Einstein
Experience as a Product Owner
