Responsibilities

* Provide attention to detail and a commitment to delivering of high-quality, stable deliverables user interfaces that delight our customers
* Work as a member of an Agile team of engineers collaboratively assessing and refining the backlog, designing & implementing medium to high complexity solutions, automating, and sharing results with the team and wider workgroup(s)
* Participate in monitoring the health and performance of the application as well at participation in rotating on-call production support & weekly ‘trust hero’ duty addressing potential customer issues.
* Working as a Hybrid Engineer, understand and implement best practices around design, implementation, and ensure code quality and testability in your own code as well as that of other engineers.
* Collaborate with other teams and functions (Software Architects, User Experience Designers, Product Management, Documentation, Support, etc.) to align, design, and deliver the best solutions for unique challenges
* Work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multi-cultural, development and testing organization
* Learn and grow your skills and share knowledge to mentor and foster growth in others
* Providing peer level code reviews.
* Display strong collaboration skills, including the ability to mentor and be mentored
* Independently deliver on tasks and fearlessly make decisions within your space of ownership
* Be self-motivated; driven to achieve and exceed committed milestones

Required Skills

* BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in software development field
* 6 to 10 years development experience building and maintaining api-based web applications in Javascript.
* Experience with Scrum in an Agile Development environment
* Understanding of Client-Server design and Software-as-a-Service
* Core proficiency in modern web programming technologies (Javascript, ES6+, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, etc...)
* Experience with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Next, ...)
* Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
* Experience in automated testing, including unit and functional testing using Javascript
* Experience in performance optimization techniques
* Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
* Sound understanding of object oriented programming
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote/distributed team environment

Desired Skills

* Experience with TypeScript
* Experience with modern JavaScript development, build, and code quality tooling (e.g. Yarn, esbuild, Webpack, ESLint, Prettier, etc.)
* Understanding of web accessibility (A11Y) standards and best practices
* Experience with Salesforce Aura or LWC (Lightning Web Components and/or Core Development)
* Experience in mobile application development (e.g. native, hybrid or progressive web applications)
* Foundational knowledge of Java and Object Oriented programming practices
* Experience developing on Salesforce, especially on Community Cloud
* Experience in UI and API performance testing and monitoring
* Experience with E-Commerce or Experience Management
* Previous experience of working in large scale platform teams
