Global Safety and Security protects the people, facilities, and assets of the company across the Globe. The Associate Manager, Global Security Operations leads the Security Operations program for Salesforce France. This includes ongoing management, improvement and refinement of the Security Operations program. The Associate Manager, Global Security Operations reports (For France) reports directly to the South Europe Associate Manager of Global Security Operations.

Responsibilities

The Associate Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for company employees, executives, clients, visitors, and contractors by enforcing established security policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines all while adapting rapidly to dynamic business requirements.

The Associate Manager is tasked with assisting in managing, implementing and improving security operations within Salesforce’s France portfolio, including but not limited to:

  • Effectively and consistently coordinating efforts necessary to execute tactical security operations, including but not limited vendor management, training, budget management, and coordination with key stakeholders

  • Leads a vendor security operations team that oversees the French sites.

  • Provides direction for contracted guard Operations in execution of business requirements including enforcement of Global Safety & Security standards

  • Ensures performance of the security contractors as measured by SLA's, KPI's, and other indicators

  • Assists with the vendor procurement process for security contractors in France, as required

  • Writes and submits formal security-related documentation such as incident reports, Risk assessments, sites survey, investigations documentation, security program proposals/recommendations, and other formal written communication as required.

  • Conducts corporate and field investigations, on company property, involving suspected or actual threats and incidents to include but not limited to: communication of threats, trespassing, vandalism, company policy violations and illegal activities.

  • Conducts physical security inspections, drills, surveys and other related activities in compliance with current policy and directives

  • Conducts security-related training and employee/contractor orientations when required

  • Plans, directs, and executes event security (in collaboration with REWS partners) for dynamic events held within our office space, Specialty Floor Events, Lobby Activations, and Social Lounge Events

  • Manages the financial responsibilities of additional event security which includes generating quotes, invoicing distribution and tracking.

  • Protest Response: supporting coordinated response to protests on or near campus

    • Creating protest plans to submit for GSS leadership approval and insight

    • Onsite direction provided during protest activities

    • Providing timely updates to upper management

  • Serves as Emergency Response Team Lead for the Paris office

  • Facilitates Active Aggressor program training at all Tier 1 & 2 sites in France

  • Tracks Security Operations case metrics throughout France portfolio and identifies trends impacting Salesforce facilities and employees

  • Strengthens external partnerships with local and state law enforcement, federal agencies, third party vendors and community organizations

  • Strengthens partnerships with building management teams through frequent collaboration

  • Assist Sectech team with security design challenges and write appropriate reports when required.

  • Attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to keep abreast of changes in executive legislative directives or new technologies impacting security operations. Maintain knowledge of current developments in area of expertise

  • Carry on missions according to local legislation. Be informed of potential legislation changes and update the process accordingly.

  • Keep tools and documentations updated.

  • Travel to all sites in France at least once per year.
