Job Details
The Quality Assurance Consultant works collaboratively with various project teams across multiple customer implementations. This role works under minimal direction, relying on experience and judgment to ensure the appropriate level of quality is incorporated into our customer implementations. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with a highly collaborative approach, exhibiting excellent problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
To be successful in the role you:
Define a successful test strategy
Complete test scenarios in a continuous integration environment
Report on testing progress
Automate and implement test scenarios
Analyze business requirements and build test scenarios based on that
Execute tests using both manual testing and automation
Write test cases and test results
Recommend functional decisions based on test results reports
Works closely with internal and customer teams to understand business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and communicate test results.
Actively participate in internal defect triage calls
Assist customer with UAT planning and execution as needed
Assist with UAT defect triage calls
Maintain and communicate QA metrics to internal and customer stakeholders via status/metrics reports
Document and communicate QA-related risks to Project Management
Interact, communicate and follow through with development & customer teams throughout testing phase
Ability to adapt to customer processes and integrate them into day to day work as needed without compromising standard methodologies and quality
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the skills you'll use every day for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
Position Requirements:
Proven experience in a test role
Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment
Excellent communication skills (in French & English) and ability to work independently
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects
Autonomy and self driven
Experience in large-scale software deployments.
Preferred Requirements :
1+ years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform.
SCRUM & Salesforce certification(s)
Understanding of test automation framework design models and best practices
