The Salesforce Automation UX team seeks to make products people love – tools that make a salesperson’s day more productive, a marketer’s campaign more powerful, or a developer’s app more feature rich – all through the power of automation. This is an opportunity to influence the experience of Salesforce Flow. Working within cross-disciplinary teams, you'll help craft the automation strategy in line with clear goals and rationales. This is a role requiring expert visualization skills, thought leadership, empathy, and the ability to work successfully with product and technology partners. You’ll immerse yourself in all aspects of end-to-end experience design, using a variety of tools including storyboards, flow diagrams, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas and direction.
The ideal candidate for this role is thoughtful, curious, and open to new ways of doing things. You set an example by advocating for end users, using research insights, and encourage your partners to do the same. Experience / Skills Required
- Experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish.
- Expertise in user-centered design methods.
- Ability to explore ideas and build consensus through varying levels of ambiguity.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Skills in industry-leading design tools, such as Figma.
- A related technical degree required.
Bonus:
- Experience making strategic decisions based on analytics and user research.
- Expertise in designing accessible user experiences.
- Can further usage of a design system, not just single-purpose apps.
- Experience with, or professional interest in, next-generation experiences involving generative and predictive AI.
- Experience with CRM or enterprise software.
Responsibilities
- Using documentation, reviews, and presentations, communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key partners
- Work collectively with product owners, engineers, and design research to build a vision for your product area
- Own multiple features, interfaces, and experiences
- Create designs that follow and extend the existing style guide while promoting and educating others on new interface guidelines and design patterns
- Produce independently as well as in a team
- Mentor other designers
- Approach challenges with a solution mentality
- Creates inclusive designs for all users
- Advocates for accessibility, encouraging management to prioritize accessible features and bug fixes

Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
