About the team

The Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Regional Go-to-Market (RGTM) team supports Customer Experience & Solutions (CXS) organization in promoting and adoption of the ALM product portfolio with customers, partners and colleagues. We are part of the Customer Service and Delivery board area.

The ALM portfolio includes these products – SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focused Run and SAP Solution Manager.


We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Lead to join our regional go-to-market team for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). This role is centred around supporting customers, partners, and colleagues with ALM products, primarily SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focused Run and transitioning from SAP Solution Manager. The ideal candidate will network with key stakeholders, create product rollout plans, serve as a trusted advisor, manage escalations, and demonstrate deep expertise in the ALM space. You will be the voice of stakeholders, own the adoption goals for the region and guide customers/partners/colleagues with the deep technical know-how. Also willing to do one-o-one customer & partner interaction, thrives in technical world and also open to present in conferences/roadshows and other such events.


  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Act as a SME for ALM products, quickly learning and building depth in specific product areas. Deliver hands-on showcases and demonstrate deep expertise, particularly in SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Focused Run. Also guides and demonstrates hands-on expertise for guiding customers & partners from transitioning from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Deep Expertise Sessions: Conduct in-depth training and expertise sessions for customers, partners, and colleagues to enhance their understanding and utilization of ALM products.
  • Adoption Support: Drive accelerated adoption of the ALM portfolio by providing comprehensive support and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning: Co-develop GTM plans, including creating target customer lists and ideal customer profiles tailored to the region.
  • Customer Understanding: Understand region-specific customer needs, drive portfolio field enablement, and build strong customer connections to generate references and success stories.
  • Strategic Engagements: Provide techno-functional advice and support during strategic customer and partner engagements to ensure successful implementation and satisfaction.
  • Communication and Training: Support the delivery of communications, events, training sessions, and other activities to promote ALM products and their benefits.


Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters Degree

Technical Expertise (must): Deep expertise in SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Focused Run is needed.

Customer and Communication Skills:

  • Knowledge of managing cloud customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven customer handling skills.
  • Experience of working with customers across the region.

Professional Experience:

  • Experience conceptualizing, organizing, and managing large customer events is a plus.
  • Experience of 4+ years as a Product Manager or other customer facing roles.
  • Experience in digital marketing and campaign management is desirable.
  • Candidates with existing experience in Product Owner roles or customer-facing roles would be advantageous.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 105900 - 180100(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
