Summary

A new fully digitized Business Suite – SAP S/4HANA – is a key pillar of SAP’s strategy. It is essential for the success of SAP that SAP S/4HANA becomes the most widely adopted business platform in the industry to manage our customers’ digital transformation. Our team, S/4HANA PCP Planning Engineering – Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), develops innovations that provide our customers highly robust and flexible solutions for order fulfillment by managing both in-house production and external procurement while optimizing the utilization of resources. Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model according to the scrum methodology.

The Role

As a senior developer, you will be a vital contributor to the full software development lifecycle wherein you will assume responsibility for designing, implementing, testing complete, end-to-end business processes. You would collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside the team. Define business and architectural concepts that are aligned with the team as well as other stakeholders. Embrace responsibility for ensuring high quality in development and maintenance and assume additional technical, organizational or coordination tasks or roles, as required

Role Requirements

• 7 - 12 years of working experience in software development (preferably ERP or S/4HANA)
• Good to excellent bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following or related areas:
  Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology
• Expertise in SAP modules SD, MM or Supply Chain Management
• Excellent programming skills and experience in:
  • ABAP/ABAP OO, CDS, OData, HANA
  • UI5, Fiori Elements, BOPF, Java Script
  • SAP development-related tools

Over and above the technical skills mentioned above we are looking for strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills together with good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with global teams across different time zones is expected.
