What you will do:

• Develop new UI components in TypeScript, predominantly with React.JS

• Work directly - and improve - one of our three products

• Contribute with a strong mindset towards advancing architectural and infrastructural decisions and improving maintainability.

• Able to maintain and refactor legacy code (EXT.JS) into new UI components

• Improve our technology stack

• Be responsible for feature development and working with shared code base

• Review the work of your teammates and support them

What you’ll bring:

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript programming, preferably using React

• Ability to build accessible user interfaces

• The drive to understand the needs of our customers

• Experience in using Git

• Experience with TDD is a plus

• Experience mentoring junior team-members is a plus

• Very good communication skills in English

• Focus on clean code, high quality

• Experience with microservice architectures

• Cloud infrastructure knowledge

• Knowledge about micro frontends is a plus

The Business Modeling and Workflow (BM&W) group is one of five groups in the engineering department of the SAP Signavio unit. We value consistency, modularity & re-usability, as well as simplicity. We strive for a coherent user experience across the entire product suite and an effective & efficient cross-product development experience. To this effect, our teams deliver SAP Signavio core products such as the SAP Signavio Process Manager or SAP Signavio Governance components.
