PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP SCM solutions have achieved a leading market position and are used by more than 2,500 customers worldwide. We are aiming to innovate the SCM product portfolio through Integrated Business Planning and S/4HANA.

SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is a cloud solution that enables companies to react quickly to customer demands and expectations and helps them handle changes and shortages in the supply chain by generating a short to mid-term supply plan, based on prioritized and categorized demand such as orders and forecasts.

The development and maintenance of SAP Integrated Business Planning is fueled by various customer engagements and the collaboration between several teams in different locations. You will be a member of an inspired team focusing on backend planning functionality of Supply and Response Management. The main technologies used is SQL, SQL script, ABAP. Changing technologies and system environments require your flexibility. Teamwork and the collaboration with others is part of your daily business.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We are looking for an engaged person with a mature attitude to provide development and maintenance in the following areas:

• Ability and experience to work in a Scrum Team
• Develop new functionality
• Code ownership
• Solving customer requests through the message handling system
• Code reviews
• Quality Assurance in your responsibility area (test driven development, test-automation)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• BsC University Degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming
• Strong technical skills in database development
• Good English language skills written and oral
• Test automation tools and concepts
• Cloud development processes/paradigms
• Proactive problem solving
• Creative thinking, willingness, and ability to learn quickly new concepts and technologies.
• Highly customer and service oriented with a strong focus on quality
• Analytical thinking and a self-motivated working attitude
• Knowledge of Agile Software Engineering methods
• Business knowledge around the area of Supply Chain Management might be beneficial
• Experiences in the following technologies and concepts is considered as an advantage:
• SQL/SQL Script/RDBMS
• HANA DB
• REST/OData protocols
