YOUR FUTURE ROLE
SAP’s cloud strategy provides comprehensive private and public cloud infrastructure and related service offerings for a wide range of requirements.
We’re looking for a Senior / Principal Cloud Architect who has the qualifications and business acumen to act as primary point of contact for all strategic and technical topics in the cloud context from a customer perspective and works closely with other internal organizational units.
This role will be crucial to ensure the successful transition of our customer SAP systems to the cloud - improving scalability, performance, and thus cost efficiency.
Therefore, the ideal candidate (f/m/d) needs a strong background in SAP technology, both in terms of cloud and on-premise, in native cloud technologies and cloud migration strategies as well as strong interpersonal skills .
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of relevant job experience, e.g. professional experience as SAP Technology Consultant (f/m/d) or SAP Technical Architect (f/m/d) with profound knowledge in at least one of the following technical domains:
- SAP cloud landscapes, SAP infrastructure, integration, or development
- Very Good understanding of SAP technologies (solutions, platforms, interoperability, interdependencies etc.) plus strong understanding of SAPs cloud & clean core strategy.
- Strong expertise in SAP architecture, including SAP S/4HANA and cloud solutions.
- Very good knowledge about cloud technology & migration concept from a technical perspective.
- Experiences in upgrade / migration, provider transition or global roll-out projects.
- High competence in adoption and consumption of the cloud portfolio across product categories focused to SAP Cloud ERP / RISE with SAP and SAP BTP.
- Ability to plan, run, and support workshops / meetings with internal and external clients particularly with regard to conduct thorough assessments of existing SAP landscapes and identify optimal migration pathways.
- The handling of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or the SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework is familiar to you.
- Strategic thinking, willingness to learn, and entrepreneurial understanding is a must have.
- Fluent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills, in German and English.
- Willingness to travel (national & international).
Any of the following is a plus:
- Experience with “RISE with SAP” is considered as an asset.
- Professional training and certification (e.g. SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect, TOGAF).
- Familiarity with SAP LeanIX and / or SAP Signavio or expert knowledge in another enterprise architecture management tool.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance expertise is an advantage.
- Technology Certification(s) is(are) beneficial.
