Summary:
As part of Enterprise Cloud Services, the mission of the ECS CAE Technology and Architecture team is to set up the ECS for the future by driving innovation, architectural best practices and industry standard concepts which will help drive SAP HANA adoption and scale as well as to provide Enterprise class cloud offerings for mission critical operations. The team is focusing on fast time-to-value at reduced cost and risk.
The team is responsible for creating, consolidating, and driving the ECS architecture, automation and innovation roadmap across various teams under consideration of the overall SAP business target.
The Role:
Working closely with a project lead as a lead architect for a specific project as part of the ECS CAE Technology and Architecture Cloud Automation and Innovation team and support in leadership of several strategic projects and architecture initiatives to improve our BUILD and RUN processes and automation. You will be responsible to lead one of this projects end to end to deliver in time and budget.
As many of the projects go across team boundaries and countries strong networking, communication and coordination skills are required.
YOUR PROFILE:
- At least 10 years of ITSM/Service Now Architecture understanding and hands on experience. ITSM/Service Now Administration Certification or equivalent beneficial
- Deep knowledge of ITIL processes in Managed Service environments. Intermediate or Expert level Certification beneficial
- TOGRAF understanding – certification beneficial.
- Understanding in different SAP solutions is beneficial.
- Good understanding of big public cloud infrastructure services or good knowledge and experience with DC infrastructure technologies
- Technical experience on ECS supported hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP) as well as on private cloud (SAP DC).
- Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment.
- Software development background in ABAP, Java, Python or similar
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and automated integration and deployment of agile principles
- Solid SAP Technical Consultant background and expertise in S4Hana and NetWeaver
- High degree of personal maturity, an orientation to goals and success, and an ability to work well with highly-technical experts
