The current requirement is for a Full-Stack Developer for the SAP Business Intelligence team within the PCP organization. We are looking for highly skilled developers proficient in both Java for backend development and with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for building frontend applications. The job expectation includes designing, developing, and delivering software modules and components using Java technologies. In addition to being responsible for the full development cycle, the individual in this role will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer issues and providing ongoing support for existing solutions.
What you’ll do:
- This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. The individual must be a quick learner with the ability to work independently.
- Develop deep product knowledge at functional and technical level to be able to design, develop, and maintain on-going development requests.
- Collaborate with Quality Specialists to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code meets quality and performance standards.
- Implement new features and enhancements, write clean, efficient, and reusable code, following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback to peers, and continuously improve development processes and practices within the team.
- Perform in-depth code level technical and functional analysis and debugging of complex issues reported by customers to formulate appropriate solutions and ensure high customer satisfaction.
What you bring:
- Strong hands-on experience in Object-oriented programming methodology with experience between 4-8 years.
- Experience with Service-oriented application development architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Java programming language (Backend) and JavaScript, HTML and CSS web programming (Frontend).
- Hands-on experience in developing Web services.
- Experience with Web application security model.
- Experience with at least one major database (SAP HANA, DB2 or Microsoft SQL Server).
- Experience with at least one major web application server is preferred (e.g. Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic)
- Prior knowledge on SAP BusinessObjects or Business Intelligence in general is preferred.
