To further strengthen our capabilities and meet the growing demand for sustainability-driven innovations, we are expanding our engineering capacity in Vietnam. We are building a talented new team to support the development of one of our flagship applications: the Sustainability Control Tower (SCT), an advanced ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting tool that helps businesses manage and achieve their sustainability goals.

What you’ll do
As a Developer for the Sustainability Control Tower, you will contribute to developing new features for a professional SaaS business application. Your initial focus will be on building and improving the data model and data collection capabilities (including workflows), with opportunities to work on various aspects of the application as the project evolves.
In this role, you will:
- Help implement cloud-based business applications to support businesses in their journey toward sustainability.
- Work closely with your team in an agile environment, learning from experienced developers and contributing to innovation.
- Focus on engineering excellence in the development of the Sustainability Control Tower cloud offering.
- Participate in hands-on development tasks and assist in setting up systems/tenants to explore integration options.

What you bring
Required skills
- Experience in software engineering, particularly in developing data models for business applications.
- Solid knowledge of Java or JavaScript (Node.js), with a passion for coding and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with software engineering concepts such as version control, API design, database design, build automation, testing, and code quality.
- A structured approach to tasks and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- A self-starter attitude with a passion for learning and a collaborative mindset.
- Knowledge of cloud-native software development, ideally in Java or JavaScript/Node.js.
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
Optional skills
- Knowledge in the sustainability domain, especially in ESG reporting and related regulations
- Experience with workflow and data collection software
- Experience with related SAP solutions and technologies, such as SAP BTP, CAP, OData, SAP UI5, Fiori Elements and SAP Build Process Automation
