IE BS Order Management Success Solutions is in-charge for the implementation and operation of SAP’s own commercial billing platform. We are searching for an IT professional with strength in the financial accounting area to provide best-in-class IT solutions for our localization business processes.

The Role

As a technology consultant, you will have the opportunity to be part of an agile team that will:

• Proactively engage with stakeholders to recognize and document business and system requirements. Ensure comprehensive coverage of local regulatory requirements impacting SAP's business processes. 
• Conduct thorough fit-gap analyses or feasibility studies for standard SAP DRC solution in alignment with business processes. Provide detailed assessments to identify areas of compliance and potential customization needs. 
• Develop comprehensive blueprints and solution designs that also includes LOB-specific business processes and the gap between SAP's standard DRC solution and the documented processes.
• Configure and modify the SAP system to meet the specified requirements. Lead the implementation process from conception to go-live, ensuring a seamless transition. 
• Provide ongoing support after implementation, addressing issues, and optimizing the system for efficiency. Conduct user demos to show system capabilities and gather feedback for continuous improvement. 
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure end-users are proficient in utilizing the SAP DRC solution. Create comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and compliance procedures. 
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones achieved, and potential risks.  Demonstrate a track record of successful go-lives, emphasizing adherence to new legal mandates.  
• Stay informed about the latest SAP updates, industry trends, and regulatory changes. Drive innovation and early adoption of new technologies and solutions in close collaboration with SAP Product Development as well as other teams within IT. 
• Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements. Ensure alignment with regulatory mandates and adherence to best practices. 
• Drive continuous improvement of IT Solution and Service quality with focus on stability, usability, maintainability and ultimately business satisfaction. 
• Drive Automation of test scripts when and where possible with the help of data science methods and technologies.  
• Establish a believed partnership with our internal business and technical counterparts and act as “ONE TEAM” from portfolio to delivery and then operations.
• Automate as well as drive innovation and early adoption of new methods, technologies, and solutions in close cooperation with Product Development as well as other innovative teams.

The Role Requirements

We seek people with distinctive academic credentials, judicious thinking, high-level problem-solving skills and a strong professional track record of results. In addition, we place high value on relevant personal qualities: resourcefulness, tenacity, high-energy and self-confidence. Desired skills are:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting module.  
• Expertise in configuration and implementation of the various components within the Financial Accounting (FI) module such as General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), New Asset Accounting (FI-AA New) as well as their integration with other SAP Modules like SD & MM.  
• Exposure to SAP Document & Reporting compliance (DRC) or eDocuments framework will be an advantage.  
• Experience in accounting topics like Digital Compliance Solutions, including India GST, LATAM countries, European Union countries, is preferred.  
• Experience in working with interfaces (cloud integrations, BTP, etc.) and integration with third-party systems. 
• Knowledge of the FICA (Contract Accounts Receivables & Payables) module is preferred.  
• Knowledge of Taxes (CIN/GST) and Tax determination is preferred. 
• End-to-end FI implementation project experience and support project experience are required.  
• Experience of working in agile environment methodologies such as scrum, following DevOps model.  
• Knowledge in Release management, Application support, preparation of end-user manuals, and training of end users.  
• Exposure to Incident/Change/Problem Management.  
• Strong mutual and verbal/written communication skills; ability to work and act as a team player and sole contributor. 

We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA Finance professional with 6 to 9 years of relevant experience and preferred knowledge in country-specific tax and legal reporting. As an IT Technology Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in support SAP's adaptation of its own products/solutions and transforming SAP into Intelligent Enterprise.
