What You’ll Do

As a Quality Engineer within SAP Learning Systems you will work with an amazing team of highly talented engineers, designers, and product managers to transform the way the entire SAP ecosystem learns & upskills, and how our customers and partners are enabled on our solutions.

You will work in a cross-functional development team responsible for the design, coding, testing and quality assurance of specific product features. You will collaborate with product management and solution engineering colleagues to craft test plans and test scripts to ensure optimal delivery of robust yet delightful features and functions. You will help with test automation and be a champion for Quality Assurance best practices, tools and methods within the agile development teams. You will align with our global Senior Quality Specialist to drive strategic QA process improvements and provide feedback to continually evolve our global QA setup.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to standard SAP specifications and deliverables

Assist our agile development teams by tracking, documenting, and reporting bugs, issues and test results in a timely manner

Work independently and in a global team to design solutions to enhance test automation and processes within own domain expertise.

Create a detailed test design incl. test system landscape requirements and product standards, prepare tests (customizing & master data), author and execute manual and/or automated tests

Co-ordination and execution of test scripts in a timely manner, providing feedback into the agile development teams on bugs and issues that you find

Assess test results and product management feedback to take the appropriate follow-up actions

Implementation of robust, performant and delightful solutions using latest SAP technology and industry standards

What You Bring

We are looking for Quality Engineers and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) with at least 4 years of proven experience in test automation and execution of Quality Assurance activities in projects and the creation, delivery, and refinement of Quality Management plans in an agile development setting.

You should have a strong background in agile software development with a focus on microservices architecture.

You will bring your experience with technologies, languages, and methodologies such as Javascript, Node.js, Python, Java, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, TDD, BDD, Cucumber.

Experience designing and developing test automation frameworks, as well as familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins and Dynatrace are a plus.

You are a strong problem solver with excellent analytical skills and a passion for ensuring quality products maintain the stellar SAP reputation.

You are a passionate developer with a focus on automation and an unwavering dedication to quality.
