At Enterprise Analytics (EA), our goal is to facilitate data-driven decisions by any SAP employee. As the platform team, we are responsible to provide our engineering teams as well as citizen personas with user-centric technologies along the entire data value chain from modelling to consumption. 
In our ambition to enable data democracy, the topics of data governance and decentralized processes become paramount, and we are setting up a new team inside the platform organization that will run Data Catalog and Governance solutions that domains can leverage to manage Data Products. 
Within this new team, we are looking for a “Data Product Governance Specialist” that manages the supports the team in all areas from Governance Strategy To Solution Implementation and Operations.

The Democratized Governance Team as part of the EA Platform team is being newly established and will be compiled of a group of diverse skills and different skill levels while sharing an innovation and can-do mindset. Everyone is hands-on, likes to share and has scalability & consistency in mind. 

The Role:
As a “Data Product Governance Specialist”, you will be able to: 

• onboard new domains to our data marketplace 
• implement & configure solutions like Collibra and custom build catalog tools 
• execute governance by enhancing the framework via rules & processes
• operate the experience of an enterprise-wide catalog 
• drive innovation for a best in class-consumer and provider experience

What you bring:

• Experience & Passion for data and analytics and its impact on business decisions and the ability to steer business with it
• Cloud mindset, entrepreneurial drive, ability to “think out of the box”, and innovate from idea to execution
• Ability to both work reliable independentely as well as in settings with many stakeholders 
• Professional Communication and Expectation Management with Stakeholders
• University bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science 
• Solution experience in SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Datasphere is welcome. 
• Experience in Collibra would be outstanding
