Enterprise Analytics is the trusted foundation of the Intelligent Enterprise for SAP. Leveraging SAP's latest technologies, we create a seamless experience to access trusted data across our system landscape and deliver smart insights to enable steering excellence at SAP.
Within the SAP Enterprise Analytics organization you will join the Planning Engineering Team to deliver state-of-the-art planning applications for our internal customers across all lines of business. Our goal and everyday motivation are to make SAP a best-in-class enterprise in Planning to successfully steer through challenging and unpredictable times. We do so by delivering flexible and intelligent planning applications build on the latest and greatest technologies   like SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere. Our integrated enterprise planning landscape helps our business to anticipate threads and opportunities fast that ultimately lead to well-informed decisions and fast Insight-to-Action.
 

What you`ll do - summary:
The vision of the Enterprise Analytics organization is to revolutionize the creation and consumption of inspiring analytical insights. With breakthrough innovations we lay the foundation for steering excellence across SAP.
In your new position you’ll be responsible to work as part of our team adding unique business values to SAP’s enterprise planning processes. You’ll do so by transforming our enterprise planning landscape to the cloud and by introducing newest innovations in process automation and predictive planning to build innovative and intelligent planning applications. Your main focus will be on SAP Analytics Cloud which is our key strategic planning product going forward. 

Our team continuously seeks for opportunities to further integrate all enterprise planning processes horizontally across the lines of businesses as well as vertically from strategic, over financial to operational planning. You hence will get in touch with various planning domains where you can bring in your expertise and learn from great colleagues as well.

The Role:
As Data Analytics and Planning Engineer for Financial Planning you design, implement and operate planning   applications and processes for different functional domains in SAP. This includes engaging with business to understand requirements, create concepts for process, data model and application design and most importantly implement and operate the application for our users. You’ll work with latest technologies like SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere.
 
What you bring

Mandatory skills

• University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in a technical/scientific field or similar
• Knowledge about semantical data modeling concepts 
• Experience with SAP or non-SAP data and analytics technologies 
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently 
• Motivation to proactively seek for process optimization and innovations
• Customer centric mindset and sense of ownership for the content that you create and the values that you add for your users
• Fluency in English 
   

Beneficial skills

• Expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud 
• Additional skills in BPC, BW-IP, Datasphere or HANA 
• Planning process knowledge in specific lines of business like Finance, Sales, Marketing or others (Finance preferred)
