As a Full Stack JavaScript Developer within the Sovereign Cloud organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work on both the front-end and back-end of our projects, ensuring seamless functionality, high performance, and responsive design. Your experience in Node.js development, cloud-native development, Kubernetes, and Docker will be a significant bonus, as it aligns with our commitment to innovative, scalable, and containerized applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Design and implement user interfaces that are responsive and user-friendly.
• Write clean and efficient code to ensure high-performance applications.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement and maintain cloud-native architecture to enable efficient scaling and high availability.
• Utilize Kubernetes and Docker to containerize and manage applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain the overall quality of the software.
• Implement testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and robustness of applications.
• Actively participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Bring expertise in Node.js development to enhance the back-end functionality of our applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in the industry.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 10 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including frameworks such as React or Angular for the front-end.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and its benefits for developing JavaScript applications.
• Solid knowledge of Node.js and server-side development.
• Experience with cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Understanding of database systems.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Selenium.
• Experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficient in English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bonus points for contributions to open-source projects or certifications related to cloud-native, Kubernetes, Docker, Node.js or Agile methodologies.
