Siemens EDA is the longest standing Electronic Design Automation company in the world and over the last 30 years has amassed the finest technology portfolio in the business. Our software tools span the full breadth of semiconductor and electrical systems solutions including integrated circuit design and verification, PCB design & manufacturing solutions, cable harness design tools, and embedded software.
This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program. Through this program, you will receive 12 months of technical and non-technical training, mentorship from Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving software challenges in the area of electronic design automation.
We are looking for a highly motivated RECENT COLLEGE GRAD U.S. based R&D software engineer to work on the Calibre engineering team in the Design to Silicon business unit. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, debugging and supporting the Calibre software. Development responsibilities will span different software tools including computation engines, application software, APIs, and utilities. You collaborate with a senior group of software engineers contributing to final production level quality of new components and algorithms and to support existent code.
Required Skills:
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of C++ and/or Python programming languages.
• Basic knowledge of algorithm and data structure design.
• Excel both in a team-oriented development and working independently.
Preferred Skills:
• Software engineering skills using Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of Multi-threaded and/or Distributed programming

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The hourly range for this position is $51.92 to $61.54 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
