As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead projects and programs within the Project Management Office department to manage customer requirements, project finances, project's life cycle, stakeholders and risks, compliance to standards, rules and regulations develop further business opportunities while driving project implementations for Siemens Healthineers IT which operates in a regulated healthcare environment (e.g., Applications, Infrastructure, Services).
Your tasks and responsibilities:
To perform this role efficiently, the Project Manager:
- You are responsible for planning and execution of innovative digitization projects, , based on coordinated business requirements in cooperation with the IT demand managers.
- You will make sure that defined tools and methods will be used and applied uniformly and globally in the project
- In alignment with the Steering Board, you are responsible for the functional control of the internal project organization, for the roll-out, the control of external partners, as well as for the organizational interfaces to your business partners and other IT units
- You participate in elaborating project plans, align on resource plans, actively manage risks and mitigations of the project and ensure documentation according to our internal best-practices.
- You will coordinate closely with the operational units (application and infrastructure management) regarding requirements and implementation.
- You are responsible for planning the required resources and the project budget
- You foster a successful project implementation in accordance with compliance requirements
- You are responsible for project communication, in close coordination with the respective steering board and stakeholders on senior management level
- Collaborating with the IT workstream leads and overall project leads
- You regularly create status reports, ensure proper communication to all related project stakeholder and support in creating decision papers for project steering
- Experience with working with global team
Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a master's degree in computer science or a comparable specialization
- You have already gained several years of professional experience in an IT organization with global orientation
- You also bring additional experience and great interest in the implementation of new technologies (e.g. automation, low code platforms, blockchain, 5G, IoT, cloud, SaaS, SAP etc.)
- You have already managed more IT projects or programs and can demonstrate leadership of employees within the scope of projects
- You have preferably experience from both waterfall and agile project management methodologies and projects.
- 5+ years of successful experience as a Project or Program manager and demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
- Leading projects with complex organizational structures including external suppliers in international environment and working in different time zones.
- Knowledge and experience in IT Software / Infrastructure / Testing discipline
- Strong leadership, and communication skills
- IT Quality audit experience and mindset are helpful
- Strong understanding of compliance and quality requirements in a strongly regulated environment
- Ability to apply broad knowledge of software testing concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to manage testing teams to achieve testing results

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2500 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
