We are looking for a DevOps Engineer - CI/CD and GitOps

You’ll make a difference by:

  • We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our platform team, focusing on CI/CD automation, GitOps workflows using Kubernetes (K8s) for full-stack web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, deploying applications on Kubernetes through GitOps, and overseeing our on-premise K8s infrastructure across multiple environments (Dev, QA, and Production). This position also involves setting up and managing our monitoring infrastructure with Grafana and Prometheus, implementing dashboards that provide key insights, and ensuring security best practices with secret management. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for automation, streamlining the release, deployment, and upgrade processes to support a reliable and scalable application environment.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and integration of full-stack web applications.
  • Use GitOps methodologies to onboard applications to Kubernetes namespace/clusters, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability in deployments across multiple environments (Dev, QA, and Production).
  • Administer and manage Kubernetes and Docker for seamless containerized application deployment and environment orchestration.

Implement and maintain secure secret management practices for sensitive data within the Kubernetes infrastructure.

  • Continuously automate and refine release, deployment, and upgrade processes to ensure a resilient, high-availability environment.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve automation, streamline deployments, and enhance release processes across different environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes infrastructure to maximize uptime and efficiency.
  • Design, build, and manage monitoring dashboards in Grafana and Prometheus to support proactive decision-making based on critical metrics.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, with a strong background in CI/CD, Kubernetes, and containerization.
  • Expertise in GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, Docker, and Kubernetes administration.
  • Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of secret management tools and best practices within Kubernetes environments.

  • 2-4 years of experience is required
