You‘ll make an impact by:
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the technical execution and delivery of cybersecurity solutions to clients. This includes managing the implementation of these solutions, conducting site visits to maintain the cybersecurity solution, providing cybersecurity trainings, and consulting on cybersecurity matters as needed. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the necessary cybersecurity infrastructure is in place to support Siemens applications. Additionally, you may be involved in gathering and defining requirements for cybersecurity projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Bid Manager for reviewing customer Bids / RFBs and make right BOM selections with cost effective & compatible solutions for cybersecurity systems HW/SW and all its related services. Prepare proposed architecture, review client comments and comply to all requirements as applicable to scope.
- Assisting in cybersecurity projects for OT systems and networks, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Assisting with the design, configuration, and maintenance of cybersecurity controls for OT systems and networks.
- Perform installation, configuration, and testing activities at both factory (manufacturing facility) and customer sites, with experience in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Participating in Cybersecurity factory and site Acceptance testing (FAT/SAT).
- Prepare comprehensive system documentation including Functional Design Specifications, Backup Systems documentation, Firewall configurations, Network Diagrams, System Architectures, Asset Inventory, FAT and SAT procedures, and Operation & Maintenance manuals. Creating and presenting technical documentation as needed (FDS, DDS, FAT, MOS, etc.).
- Assisting in implementing cybersecurity controls and safeguards to protect OT systems and networks.
- Assisting in analyzing the cybersecurity posture of OT systems and networks, identifying vulnerabilities and risks, and recommending remediation measures.
- Participating in risk assessments and vulnerability assessments on the OT systems of our clients.
- Providing expert guidance and consulting on OT cybersecurity best practices and technologies.
- Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure the integration of cybersecurity into OT projects and operations.
- Keeping up to date with the latest OT cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
Your success is grounded in
- 5+ years of experience in OT Industrial Control System as Design/Site Engineer with experience in IT/OT security, with Proven experience in ICS Systems and Cybersecurity, with a focus on OT security.
- Knowledge of Shell Design and Engineering Practices (Shell DEPs), Oil & Gas engineering practices, applicable specifications, codes, and international standards
- 3+ years performing the installation and/or management of network-based firewalls, preferably Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, or another top-tier product.
- 3+ years performing L2/L3 network implementation and configuration including STP, RING, VRRP, OSPF, PRP, etc.
- 3+ years performing network troubleshooting using sniffers and other tools/techniques.
- 3+ years performing the installation and/or management of network-based Intrusion Detection products like Nozomi Guardian / Dragos or another top-tier product
- 3+ years of experience in implementing End-Point security solutions (Antivirus, Application Control, Data Leakage Prevention, Host IPS, etc.).
- 3+ years of experience in implementing system backup solutions (Acronis, Veeam, Quest etc.).
- 3+ years in scripting skills and programming language (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
- 3+ years of experience using discovery, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing tools (Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit, etc.).
- 3+ years of experience configure and deploy Domain Controller, PDC/RADIUS Server settings and policies to defined computer groups.
- 2+ years of experience with VxRail Clusters and other Virtualization Platforms and Management Client/Consoles
- 2+ years of experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions.
- 2+ years of experience with One-Way Data Diodes for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) with hands-on experience for ICS OWL software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Cybersecurity, Electrical, Control or Computer-related field.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, GICSP, OSCP, or CEH are mandatory; CCNP Enterprise, and IEC-62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist are a plus.
