At Siemens GBS we’re on the lookout for a Junior Data Analyst for our new upcoming projects. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about data, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a variety of projects.
Your analytical mind will come in handy in:
- Conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to effectively visualize data
- Collaborating with different departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights
- Assisting in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to support business objectives
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc data requests and special projects
- Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to drive innovation
Here's what you should bring to the table for a successful application:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis
- Basic knowledge of Power BI for creating interactive reports and dashboards
- SQL knowledge is a plus for querying databases
- Basic understanding of reporting concepts (e.g., what KPIs are, when closing and reporting are done)
- Good and clear communication especially in English is key (German is advantage) as you’ll be cooperating with teams in other regions
