What part will you play?
- Acquire and maintain data from various sources for quality relevant data on business-relevant topics, e.g. operational process, equipment performance, supply chain and sustainability.
- Perform data analysis using statistical techniques, data mining, and other analytical tools to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships within the data.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate data-driven insights to collaborators.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions. Evaluate and analyze user experience.
- Find opportunities for data-driven process improvements and make recommendations to optimize business performance.
- Maintain data integrity, security, and confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and industry trends to improve the organization's data capabilities.
- Promote digitalization and automation in quality management by implementing suitable tools and solutions.
- Support of the manufacturing network in quality-related data analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or business analytics. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, MS dynamics, cloud solutions, large language models, …
- Understanding modern software architectures and design guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal, to present data-driven insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in data visualization and dashboard creation using tools like Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
- Knowledge of data management principles, including data quality, data governance, and data security.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient language skills in German and English.
- This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment (Berlin, Frankfurt) and may require occasional travels to Siemens locations.
