As a .NET developer, you will be working on our historian connectivity tech stack by preparing it for a scalable future in the cloud. You will be working in the team to make sure the skills are present to prepare our current solution for this reality, ensuring we can offer the best possible user experience. You are driven by efficiency and can leverage practical knowledge about the .NET ecosystem to create an efficient and qualitative delivery of our software.

What you will do

• Work in an Agile scrum team, with a product owner, architect & scrum master

• Contribute to technical elaboration and development of our .Net roadmap.

• Contribute to our platform and connectivity architecture with the team architect.

• Together with your colleagues, provide 3rd line support for the .Net stack.

• Apply your knowledge and expertise to benefit both our product, people, and practices.

Expectations

• Deep and current expertise within your skill area, which you are eager to apply to our challenges and use-cases.

• A solid understanding of enterprise grade connectivity solutions, and corresponding design/development best practice to ensure we deliver robust and reliable connectors.

• The ability to work with a product owner to understand connectivity needs and requirements and translate them into an incremental development roadmap with the team.

• Work autonomously and independently, pro-actively flagging impediments when they occur.

• Value the importance of up-to-date documentation and transparent communication.

• Where necessary, leverage your experience to influence priorities.

What you bring along

• About 3-5 years proven experience building micro services platforms using C# in the .NET ecosystem.

• Applied knowledge of software engineering best practices (TDD, DDD, SOLID, etc.).

• Experience with streaming and data integration is considered a big plus.

• Eager to learn, staying up to date with technologies and methodologies, and share these insights with the team.

• Passionate about software development, innovation, and creative thinking in general.

• You are a team player, who values achieving results as a team.

• Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Experience with other technologies in our product portfolio is an advantage, in particular: Kubernetes, Java, Angular, Golang, Python, etc.
