To implement security vulnerabilities code scanning such as CheckMarx and SonarCube and inform the respective product teams to address those security vulnerabilities. This is very important to ensure our Adabas Natural customers environment are not compromised as they are running mission critical applications with highly sensitive data.

This team will work with other product teams to ensure delivery of high quality Adabas and Natural products.

To be successful as a Security Software Engineer in this team, one should have the following:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in IT or related fields (e.g. Engineering).

In addition:

  • Advanced knowledge in implementing CheckMarx and SonarCube or other code scanning tools.

  • Good knowledge in operating systems Windows, Linux and Unix.

  • Good knowledge in programming (either C, Java, GoLang or .Net)

  • Experience in Source code versioning tool such as GitHub.

  • Experience in automation tool such as Jenkins.

  • Good communication skills to work with different product development teams.

Occasionally, some scripting languages like shell scripts, Perl or similar, would be helpful to understand and maintain automation job system like Jenkins.
