We are currently seeking a Junior Software Engineer* for the IoT DataHub team of our subsidiary Cumulocity GmbH.

Essential Functions

• Development of our product Cumulocity IoT DataHub with front-end focus
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards
• Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to automate build, deployment, and testing processes, leveraging CI/CD pipelines
• Working in a team of highly skilled and excellent professionals
• Cooperating in an international development organization

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor/master’s in computer science, software engineering, or comparable degree
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good English skills, both written and spoken for working with our international teams

Nice to Haves

• Experience in the field of software development
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular)
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages, especially Java
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
• Experience with code repositories such as Github, Gitlab, etc.
• Good German skills, both written and spoken
