Senior Data Engineer Azure


As Senior Data Engineer Azure, you will play a pivotal role in consolidating data from diverse sources into a robust central data platform. You will bridge the gap between business intelligence and data science, ensuring our data infrastructure is both reliable and scalable.

This position is available for candidates in either Rotterdam, Netherlands, or Warsaw, Poland.

Your tasks

  • Building the data pipelines on Azure
  • Developing the data hub on Azure
  • Preparing the scripts to restructure and populate the data
  • Developing current pipelines to run on Azure
  • Coordinating with analytics stakeholders on data modeling
  • Satisfy the requirements of data preparation and consumption activity
  • Updating the data populations scripts to fit with the new models and pipelines
  • Establish and maintain documentation practices for all data pipelines
  • Independently consult, design, and implement solutions based on system specifications
  • Perform ETL/ELT data processes from MS D365 systems and different ERP solutions in the audiological care space
  • Independently handle projects, analyzing complex business processes and translating them into data sources
  • Contribute to global Business Intelligence and Analytics architecture decisions and consult with business units
  • Integrate new solutions into existing data governance and authorization frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies and standards

Your profile

  • University degree in IT, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with pipeline and workflow management tools on Azure
  • 3+ years experience in Azure services such as: data bricks, data factory, Synapse Analytics
  • Extensive experience in project and data management
  • Professional experience in SQL (PL/SQL) and Python
  • Professional experience in data lake and data warehouse modeling techniques
  • Proficient in mapping and building data system landscapes and data marketing processes
  • Proven experience in managing data interfaces within a full data pipeline
  • Skilled in code versioning, code review, and documentation
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
