Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) - Audatic
At Audatic, a Sonova company based in Berlin, we use deep learning to create intelligent audio solutions that adapt to real-world sound environments. As a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d), you’ll be part of a highly skilled development team building the infrastructure that powers our neural network training and optimization systems.
You’ll work closely with our deep learning engineers and data scientists to design, maintain, and extend our training pipelines and experiment management tools. More about the role:

Collaborate with deep learning engineers and data scientists to design and maintain scalable systems for neural network training

Develop and optimize tools and services that enhance performance, efficiency, and usability across our ML infrastructure

Work with embedded software engineers on graph-manipulation tools to analyze and optimize trained neural networks

Improve automation and robustness using CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

Take ownership of key components within our infrastructure and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement

Support our transition from on-premise clusters to Azure Cloud infrastructure
More about you:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Minimum 5 years of relevant software engineering experience

Strong proficiency in Python, with the ability to write clean, robust, and maintainable code

Experience with some of the following: Docker, Slurm, FastAPI, TensorFlow, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, or GitHub Actions

Solid understanding of software design and architecture principles for large-scale systems

Strong communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written)

Proactive, adaptable, and eager to explore new technologies
Nice to have:

Experience designing or maintaining deep learning infrastructure

DevOps experience or familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP
-
Knowledge of scientific computing and ML frameworks such as NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, or TensorFlow
