Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and committed (Senior) Unity 3D C# Backend Engineer (m/f/d) who is passionate about establishing value-add technologies of the future in today's industries. We are striving to become the market leader for workflow-based realtime frontline worker assistance using 3D XR technologies. For that we have a core product development team of TeamViewer Frontline Spatial which you could join and be part of a cross-functional team working with an agile mindset.

• Contribute to the existing cross platform (HMD, Mobile, Desktop) Unity project
• Design, develop, test and maintain core product features
• Efficiently load and manage assets during runtime
• Implement communication services using REST/OpenAPI interfaces
• Profile and optimize implementations based on the target platforms limitations
• Incorporate native plugins and bundle Unity with native applications
• Contribute to test automation, and CI/CD improvements for various target platforms
• Work in coordination with colleagues (Git, Pull-Request, Code Review, Peer Programming)
• Show ownership for your responsibilities and be accountable for your results
• Have room to experiment and grow your skills in various areas

Qualifications

• University or college degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology or other related subjects
• Profound experience in shaping and creating robust industrial (AR) client applications
• Several years of practical experience in gaming, education or other interactive 3D programming w/ Unity
• Excellent professional C# programming experience and clean code mindset
• Very good knowledge of the Unity3D engine 2020 LTS or later
• Practical experience with RESTful API communication and multithreading
• Profound understanding of I/O processes incl. file / asset handling
• Practical experience with (automated) software testing and CI/CD
• Knowledge about bundling with native plugins / applications is an advantage
• Aspiration to constantly enhance and learn about new technologies and concepts
• Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
