Job Description

Tipico is looking for a Product Manager - Payments to join our team. Grow with us, introduce us to new ideas and develop products that maximise the thrill of sports for our customers. Every day, you’ll work in a highly collaborative and agile environment with cross-functional team members to develop products and create technical solutions that push us forward.

Your playing field:

  • Lead product and feature development by writing detailed product specifications/requirements
  • Highly experienced with managing payment products and integrating new payment methods and gateways to products
  • Act as Product Manager for development teams by defining Epics and User Stories and guiding the efforts in an Agile software development environment
  • Within a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for the product development of our own payment services
  • Work closely with stakeholders, solution architects, and tech leads to ensure their requirements are captured efficiently and prioritized correctly alongside other product requirements
  • Collaborate closely with other Product Managers to create roadmap plans together and make sure features are delivered as per agreed commitments
  • Define Non-functional requirements and ensure measures are in place to support the management of product and feature performance
  • Assist with identifying, evaluating, and selecting the best payment providers and partners for us. Perform commercial, product, and technical due diligence with potential vendors
  • Responsible for performing UAT and sign-off ensuring requirements and overall quality are met
  • Work closely with the UXD Team to define customer experience specifications for new features

Qualifications

Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

  • University Degree. You have a bachelor’s degree in a business or technical area, a master‘s degree is a plus
  • Expertise. You have many years of product management experience in the payments domain with technical products. You bring many years of knowledge of payments/financial processes and systems to the table
  • Product management skills. You are great at writing detailed product requirements and specifications, aligning with stakeholders to finalize the requirements, and working with customer experience teams to help build the best user journeys for the product features. You are great at building and maintaining the product backlog for your domain
  • Teamwork. You are experienced working with matrix organizations where initiatives need the involvement of multiple product areas/domains and multiple business/stakeholder teams to be realized and delivered successfully.
  • Communication. You can discuss your ideas technically with the engineers and can also explain your ideas/views non-technically to stakeholders/business teams
  • Passion. You are interested in the business of sports betting and iGaming and know the Tipico product
  • Strong customer focus. You can empathize with customer motivations and desires
  • Agile environment. You have experience working in an agile environment have a strong understanding of product/software delivery lifecycle and can adapt to new processes easily
