Our Quality Assurance (QA) team ensures operational tasks within Trade Republic meet high standards of accuracy and quality. We develop targeted QA processes to generate actionable insights from data analysis, supporting the safety of company and customer finances in the realm of anti-financial crime (AFC). Our mission revolves around aligning processes with strategic goals, implementing scalable architectures, and establishing efficient measurement systems.


  • Create and maintain QA processes, QA tools and dashboards
  • Conduct QA reviews to generate valuable and telling data about the state of operations
  • Monitor the quality of outsourced tasks, including managing quality expectations with outsourcing partners
  • Analyse QA data to identify operational weaknesses and inefficiencies (root cause analysis), in order to offer actionable feedback and recommendations to the operational teams
  • Evaluate the development of quality and performance trends and differentiate one-time effects from repetitive behaviour
  • Clearly structure findings and proactively report observed trends to relevant stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for QA automations and other improvements to QA processes
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence in all aspects of the operation


  • Self-driven personality with a “hands-on” approach and outstanding analytical skills with a quick understanding of new subjects and a willingness to learn and excel in a demanding startup environment
  • Understand how to interpret QA data, identifying root causes of errors and prioritising fixes that have immediate impact. In other words, high level problem solving.
  • Elementary to intermediate experience in data analysis and coding is required (SQL or Python)
  • Excellent communication skills in English are required; additional languages are a plus
  • Attention to detail is of utmost importance, as well as a willingness to challenge the status quo for the purpose of improving quality and performance
  • Berlin-based or willingness to relocate to Berlin
