Unilever is currently hiring for Beauty & Wellbeing Technical Project Leader and Asst. Product Dev. Manager MET (Middle East, Turkey)

We are looking for a self-confident R&D formulation expert who will play a strong role in driving the MET B&W agenda forward. The job holder will work closely with internal Unilever functions (R&D, Marketing, Supply Management and Supply Chain), external suppliers to cover all aspects of the development and deployment within MET B&W.

In this role, you’ll be undertaking research to understand what consumers want and need, while developing the technology and the science to bring innovations to life. You’ll get hands-on experience by working in one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies.

What you can expect from The Role:

  • Responsible for haircare formulation development/deploy related to innovation, renovation in line with business, consumer and regulation needs.
  • Identify value improvement opportunities and lead relevant formulation work.
  • Technical project management to make sure on time in full delivery of R&D activities.
  • Identify and communicate the technical risks.
  • Follow and understand trends on market regarding new product and technologies with latest developments in the relevant area.
  • Responsible for integrity of specifications and formulations in Unilever Digital Tools, write technical reports.
  • Manage R&D activities related to hair product platforms within B&W R&D team.
  • Work in multi-functional teams (with Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and other associated functions), owning and driving the adherence to a full project time line
  • Ensure the compliance of the work to the Unilever Code of Business Principles and all SHEQA policies

Does this sound like You?

  • A degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering preferably having a master’s degree.
  • Preferable 5+ years of experience in research, design, manufacturing, and/or technical product management with basic understanding of Cosmetic Science and Technology
  • Passionate for beauty& wellbeing product development
  • Ability to work in a team with strong communication skills as well as independently, self-motivated, proactive and fast learner.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, good hands-on skills and fast actions.
  • Results-driven; detail-oriented
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good Time management skills
  • Good English communication skills
