MAIN JOB PURPOSE

The IIoT Engineer is responsible for supporting the creation of pioneering services that help the factory end users to collect, transform, and manage data/information. He/she oversees installation and management of field instruments, network, hardware, software, and cloud connections. He/she supports development of application layers, data processing layer, network layer, and sensing layer to ensure seamless connection and data transmission. He/she supports hardware commissioning, user acceptance tests, training and development, and monitoring of implemented applications in the Factory. He/she supports the Digitization lead in handling Digitization projects. He/ she supports case studies in creating Digital Solutions for the factory.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Knowledgeable in sensors, instruments, and metering devices

• Able to read P&ID and network architecture diagrams.

• Knowledgeable in PLC programming

• Knowledgeable in Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, Profinet, Profibus, I/O Link and other communication protocols

• Knowledgeable in Networking Architecture

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Azure

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and able to work well in a team.

• Visionary with self-learning initiative
