The Supply Chain Transformation is expected to enable –

Supply Chain cost savings are an essential part of the virtuous cycle of growth and support the business efforts to increase the core operating margin. These savings will be driven by improvements in efficiency.

Supply chain leadership seeks continuous improvement in manufacturing to drive cost savings and higher returns, providing extra fuel for growth as cash is redeployed in new strategic opportunities.

Main purpose of job:

Make/Quality/Safety Platform is a part of Global Supply Chain team within Enterprise Applications with roles & responsibilities spanning across:

  • Business partnering with Safety, Health & Environment Business community

  • IT strategy & product roadmap

  • Delivery of IT solutions from concept to landing,

  • Support & BAU operations of the existing IT applications

This role of “IT Manager” within the Make/Quality/Safety Platform spans across the E2E SHE function, primarily with the focus of enabling digitization. In this role, the incumbent is required to be the process & functional expert in end to end SHE processes, overlaying with capabilities in data, reporting tools & analytics capabilities.

Role will require to partner business teams as well as other IT teams to conceptualize business needs & design & deliver digital solutions. In addition to technical changes, the role involves defining simplified and harmonized processes for SHE and influencing business stakeholders to secure buy-in. These changes call for strong ability to innovate and conceptualize end-state processes and solutions. It will also require setting up effective communication strategy and handle Change Management and Training. With the ever-changing technologies & evolving business requirements, the role also warrants an external orientation to bring in an outside-in perspective & help deliver the best in class solutions.

The role is Global in nature & apart from the functional & technical know-how, requires excellent stakeholder & project management skills.

Key accountabilities:

  • Stakeholder engagement and communication of the SHE Digital strategy and roadmap: Creating buy-in and building consensus

  • Supporting the development, communication and embedding of key governance and frameworks

  • Conducting change readiness assessments on varying levels of project scale – including confirming change appetite and developing corresponding change plans

  • Change management strategy development & execution

  • Support the delivery of specific projects and key work-streams with relation to the core SHE reporting platform SHENet, including:

    • Enhancements to existing modules based on user feedback

    • Launch of mobile application

    • Simplification of incident module workflow

    • Delivery of any newly identified functionality

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of Digital projects in Safety and Risk area and Drive requirement workshop, Tool evaluation, Proof of concepts, tool selection, design, solutioning, development, testing and project delivery, change management adhering to project management life cycle.

  • Support the implementation of the SHE Digital Strategy and Roadmap findings, including:

    • ePTW (electronic Permit to Work) – identifying and interviewing stakeholders associated with the UAT and the associated communications and change management for the project.

  • Understand the business context – factory processes, gaps, and requirements. Ability to translate it into technical documents and explaining the goals to the scrum team and other stakeholders

  • Stakeholder analysis

  • Communication plan plus collateral development & execution

  • Readiness assessment

  • Training strategy development & execution

  • Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with global, cluster, and factory level stakeholders to manage the product roadmap, prioritize and keeping them informed about regular releases, achievements, and challenges.

Experience and qualifications required:

  • Candidate with educational qualifications in Supply Chain preferred

  • Knowledge & Experience of Safety, Health & Environment preferred

  • Expert in devising and executing Change Management and Communications strategies

  • Exposure to Data Analytics, RPA and other Digital Technologies preferred

  • Excellent stakeholder & vendor management skills

  • Attention to detail, Self-starter, problem-solving attitude, being accountable

  • Information Management affinity

  • Excellent inter-personal and communicative skills, willing to support the teams at a high level of excellence

  • Expert in Agile application development and DevOps

  • Good understanding of cloud capabilities (preferably Microsoft Azure)

  • As the role is Global the successful candidate will sometimes be required to work flexibly in order to accommodate time zone differences and accommodate deadlines

  • Travel – 10%

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with designing and deploying supply chain digital solutions (or related areas)

  • Experience in managing and scaling large & complex transformation programs
